CHAIR & LEAD PRODUCER

Chris is a professional actor, director and producer best known for playing Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter film series.

A passionate advocate for grassroots arts, Chris has been involved in community theatre from a young age and brings a wealth of industry experience to his work with Brecon Little Theatre.

Having appeared in six of the eight Harry Potter films, Chris can also be seen on screen in The Rotters Club and Victoria Cross Heroes, as well as appearances on Celebrity Total Wipeout and Pointless Celebrities. On stage he has numerous credits in plays, musicals, pantomimes and concerts across the UK and beyond.
Chris has since gone on to work behind the scenes as part of the production team on acclaimed UK television shows such as Downton Abbey, A Discovery of Witches and His Dark Materials.

Chris is deeply committed to using the arts to inspire, educate, and connect people. As part of BLT’s leadership, Chris ensures that our community-led productions benefit from professional standards and insight—making high-quality theatre accessible to all in Brecon and beyond.

VICE CHAIR & CO-PRODUCER

Nia was an active member of BLT as a teenager. She has a rounded education in all aspects of theatre production both on and off the stage gained while studying Drama at the University of Hull, taking courses at the Welsh National Opera, Guildford School of Acting, as a member of the National Youth Theatre of Wales and stints in the Stage Management Department at the Palace Theatre, London (then home to Les Miserables) and at Weta Workshop in New Zealand during post production on The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

After graduating, Nia worked at the Royal Albert Hall while also doing acting and voice over work.

She moved back to Brecon to raise her family and has been a part of running BLT for the last 9 years. She has Directed, Musical Directed, performed in, produced and written shows for BLT. She has also been Musical Director for Wormtongue Productions and Ghostlight.

In her professional life she is a successful Vocal Tutor guiding the next generation to reach their performance goals.

She is passionate about sharing theatrical opportunities with the local community.
