CHAIR / LEAD PRODUCER

Chris Rankin is a professional actor and producer best known for playing Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter film series. A passionate advocate for grassroots arts, Chris has been involved in community theatre from a young age and brings a wealth of industry experience to his work with Brecon Little Theatre.

Having appeared in six of the eight Harry Potter films, Chris has since gone on to work behind the scenes as part of the production team on acclaimed UK television shows such as Downton Abbey, A Discovery of Witches and His Dark Materials.

Chris is deeply committed to using the arts to inspire, educate, and connect people. As part of BLT’s leadership, he helps ensure that our community-led productions benefit from professional standards and insight—making high-quality theatre accessible to all in Brecon and beyond.
